In aim to know other opinion about public relations education in Latvia, I asked some small questions to Ivo Rode, a public relations practicioner in PR agency "Prospero" in Riga.

Ok, than I'll ask you some questions about PR education in Latvia. First - What's your opinion about quality of the PR education in Latvia?
I think that quality of PR eduction quality in Latvia is good. But it depends from university. It's a responsibility of student. In the period when she or he decide about university, needs to think what kind of education he or she wants to get...

How do you think - is it needed to combine work with study in PR profession?
Everyone can choose the way he likes and which is the most appropriate - work or not to work in PR. But actually it's a large amount ow work. If a student wants to devote himself to study - it's his choice. I think that it's a skill to combine work with studies. Not all can do it and that's why everything need to evaluate in within limits.

What's your prognoses about PR education in Latvia?
These universities which yet doesn't offer to study PR profession, might to set a target to create this program. It's a result of fact that in Latvia PR profession become more and more popular. And it means that students in the future will be more choices.
